ROTC Instructors

Welcome Letter

From the Wekiva High School

Senior Aerospace Science Instructor

 Col. Caudill

On behalf of Principal Michele Erickson, Wekiva High School staff, Chief Mark Brillant and myself, I want to welcome you to the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) program and specifically FL-20091.  It is our goal to provide you a stimulating, empowering and challenging environment where through teamwork and individual effort you can achieve anything you set out to accomplish.  Since the formal beginning of the first AFJROTC program in 1966, thousands of young men and women have chosen to supplement their high school education by participating in this program.  Many have chosen to pursue military careers while others have taken what they have learned into the civilian sector.  Whichever path you choose, I am confident the lessons learn while participating in this program will help you achieve your personal goals.

Colonel Caudill entered the Air Force active duty in 1983 upon graduating from the Virginia Military Institute.  His career includes operational tours in support of the F-4, OV-10 and F-117 weapons systems as well as staff tours in Air Cobat Command (ACC), FA-22 & Distributed Combat Ground Support System DCGS program development, Air Intelligence Agency (AIA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and the Armed Forces Medical Intelligence Center (AFMIC).  As the HQ USAF/A2 Reserve Advisor to CENTCOM, SOUTHCOM, AFSOC and the National Security Agency (NSA), he provided reserve resources for world wide ongoing operations.  He has mobilized to USCENTCOM on two separate occasions in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
