Principal's Message

Welcome to Wekiva High School!

Tamara Baker Drayton

Greetings Wekiva High School students, families and community members:

I want to express how proud I am to serve as the Principal of this vibrant and enriching school. We have a diverse student population that is academically strong and talented. Building on our legacy of excellence, Wekiva offers many opportunities for student success through our Culinary Arts, Laser Photonics, Agriscience, and Aquaponics Magnet programs, Athletics, and Performing Arts. We offer a full range of Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment opportunities, our Cambridge AICE program, and courses for every interest and academic level. Of course, our most valuable asset is a talented and compassionate staff who work tirelessly to care for our students. It is our mission to lead all Mustangs to success with the support of families and the community. “Moving in the Spirit of Excellence,” we are the home of the Mustangs.

Please contact me if you have any suggestions or need additional information. If you would like to stay up to date with what is happening at Wekiva High School, please sign up for our text alerts and weekly emails.

Proudly Serving,

Dr. Tamara Baker-Drayton
